ABOUT

Hunter (they/them) received their associate's degree in Visual Arts from Ulster County Community College in 2021, and got their BFA in drawing and painting from SUNY New Paltz (2023.) They will obtain their MFA from SUNY New Paltz in 2026 in painting and drawing. 

Their work aims to distort organic forms, colors, patterns, and textures, and create new environments for these forms to live in. They blend abstraction and contemporary impressionism with an emphasis on painterly mark-making.
